I don't want to talk about the Rams game.

All I will say is that it was entirely winnable, and somehow the
Jets managed to get beat by one man, Marc Bulger. All that said, I am
glad the Jets are in the playoffs and I drank the Kool-Aid, the Jets did
earn their way there, no matter how the last month has gone. The loss
does not give me a lot of confidence for the Jets chances going into
San Diego this weekend in a first round playoff game, but they have
already beaten the Chargers and 10-6 was a good record. Though, a win
against the Rams certainly would have helped to quiet the critics some
after losses to elite teams this season.

With the Jets leader still suffering from a sore shoulder, the team
will have a tough road ahead of them. Gary Myers writes for the Daily
News about the Jets and their current state of affairs.

It is early to think about next year, but the Jets will be hard
pressed to make it back into the playoffs with Buffalo nipping at their
heels now. McGahee and the Bills defense has made great steps and more
than likely will crowd the AFC East.
