The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!
In
all seriousness, I was in Tampa for business at a sales kickoff meeting
since Tuesday (which was great! the keynote speaker was Lou Holtz!) and
with 500+ business people at a golf resort, Saddlebrook's wireless connectivity was haywire. Going for more than 3 days without Internet access felt like withdrawal, but I read the USA Today outside my door most mornings and I was doubtful of the Jets chances to win, but would have take the 6.5 points anyday.
I got home through wind, snow and sleet last night and caught the
majority of the game, cozy at home while I took notes about the game. I
will write them up later tonight, today I have to catch up on a few
things first. What I will say is that the game was won in typical Jets
fashion… the hard way.
Barton owes Brien dinner, but Brien owes the crossbar dinner too… does that mean that Barton owes the crossbar dinner???
Glad the Jets are still in it. I want more, but at least I don't have to feel ashamed now if they lose to another team.
