It looks like the papers are treating the whole shoulder thing like it is Watergate.

I mean, why would they let everyone know the gory details of the
injury? If they do, opposing pass rushers would try to aggravate the
injury, and media and fans would have been livid asking, “why is Chad
playing?”

You are damned if you do and you are damned if you don't.
