Chrebet: It Ain't Over
Chrebet will be a Jet again this year.
We all knew it became clear when the Jets paid that large roster bonus
to Chrebet at the beginning of the month. Regarding the addition of
Heimerdinger:
“I think it's
a big off-season acquisition for us,” Chrebet said. “Just talking to
[former Titan] Justin, the guy's really good at changing things on the
fly during a game, creating good matchups and mismatches. That really
keeps the defense on its toes.”
And regarding Coles:
“Me
and Laveranues, we were as tight as it got,” he said. “He's a
phenomenal player, he's still young, he plays hurt, he plays with a
chip on his shoulder. That's why we got along. We both have that big
old chip that we're not going to get rid of.”
