Law Watch: Gap in the Signing Bonus

Apparently, as I had guessed other day, the gap is in the signing bonus for Ty Law. This according to Rich Cimini from the Daily News:

The
Jets have maintained an ongoing dialogue with the agents for free-agent
cornerback Ty Law, but talks won't heat up until Law lowers his
contract demands. Law is seeking a signing bonus between $12 million
and $14 million, according to a person familiar with the situation.
That would be the second-largest signing bonus in Jets' history, behind
Chad Pennington ($18 million).
