PSA: News Team, ASSEMBLE!!!!
First off, we at TJB wanted to a moment to say thank you to
the readers of this site. As I have said before, even though we writers spend
time contributing, your comments and thoughts are really what drives this site.
I started this site on Blogger (nyjetsblog.blogspot.com) in September of 2004
and since then, your thoughts, comments and emails have made this ONE OF THE
BEST NFL blogs out there, by a long shot. So as always,
our thanks to you. To that end, I am interested in seeing if any
readers/commenters might be interested in getting more involved in this site…
I have some ideas for field assignments.
The summer will be full of
travels for me and more than likely, not a single one of them Jets related.
First on the list, this week my wife and I will be kicking it in the Outer Banks with some of her
college friends. I will be making some posts when I can, but really, don't
expect too much. I don't know how corrosive the salty air and many spilt
Coronas can be to my keyboard…
Before I do take off though, it
occurred to me that the training camp and preseason are really not that far
away! That being said, I have some “field assignments” that I would be
interested to know if anyone would like… stuff like giving some reports if you
attend camp, preseason games and the like. If you are planning on getting to see
the Jets live this summer, or during the season and would like to write
