Film Room Friday: 1997 Jets Raiders Game

Since everyone seemed to love the Walker clip last week, here is another set of 'vintage' highlights, and this one has it all.  Berman making stupid analogies, Otis Smith getting toasted, Hansen's trickery, Cole Ford setting the table for Janikowski and 4th and 7 heroics.

    Otis, my man! That was toast for 3, waiter. Burnt by speed, burnt by footwork and burnt by simply bad coverage. Ouch.

    Say what you want about Chris Berman and his delivery, but I am going to miss NFL Primetime.
    For those of you that don't know, NBC's new NFL Sunday contract lays a claim to all highlight shows after the 1pm and 4pm games conclude until 12:01am Monday. Because of this, ESPN drew the curtain on Primetime — at least on Sunday evenings.
    The show may air on Monday nights, but it won't be the same in my opinion. The energy just won't be there. It was a great cap to a NFL Sunday.
