Madden Player Rankings
IGN has again listed the rankings of players by teams in the NFL for Madden 2007. The Jets talent is somewhat sparse, and inexplicably David Barrett somehow is the 6th overall best player on the team. Am I the only one who disagrees with this?

Maybe John ranks all the players himself. Which means he probably thought Barrett looked like Brett Favre, somehow.

No idea what Madden is about. Barrett would have been ranked 9th if the Jets retained their three Pro Bowl players, John Abraham, Ty Law and Kevin Mawae.
Highest ranked CB because he had 5 INT's last year which is 5 times the INT's recorded in the NFL last year by every other CB on the Jets roster combined. Andre Dyson had 1 INT… Miller, Strait, Mickens had a combined 0 INT's. The rest are rookies. -
maybe not–but let's be honest, it's not that far off. Look at the guys below him.

It is a joke. Barrett may not even start on this team.
i tried to list players obviously better though and it was harder than I thought (Vilma, Coles, Ellis, Brick, Cotchery, DRobb, Graham, Kerry Rhodes come to mind). We will need to see how Miller, Barton and Dyson shake out.

Well, Bill Cowher (I think it was Cowher) told Herm after their blown Playoff game (thanks again Doug Brien) that he was the best Corner the Steelers had faced that year. I know he blows coverages a fair bit, but he does make some clutch plays, and to be honest I thought Law had his ankles busted a lot last year. I blew easily as many assignments as he had INT's.
