Would be a mistake to get rid of McCairens--again, we saw his big play potential the other nite, a 40 yard catch and run play. He's the only guy on the team that has it, never forget that, 16.6 ypc last year, that is HUGE (and they got rid of Santana after posting a similar ypa number, and, I think, the same amount of catches, 47, the year before--does that maybe tell you something?)
Teagle's no CB (ha ha), but if he can play soon, it's really a good thing--he's can play guard, too, which really gives the OL good depth. He's a nice player--actually with him and Jones, the OL has decent depth, is probably ok, assuming Mangold and D'Brick progress nicely, which they probably will. But those OL guys aren't allowed to touch the ball, except for fumble recoveries and tackle eligible plays--so the major problem will remain: this team just can't score any points.

Great call with the snarkies. Do any of these writers edit there work or check there information out, it amazes me.
Anyone know if the Jets have any plans on bringing in any more DT's or NT's? I know they brought in Grady Jackson who signed with Atlanta and spoke about Brenson Buckner, but nothing ever happened. I noticed that the 49ers released Jerry DeLoach, a 6-2 335 lb, DT who spent time with the Texans, playing in the 3-4 scheme. I thought DeLoach could be an option, especially with our paper depth on the defensive line.
