I second that very cool list, great work as usual Bassett! You’ve got me thinking about retired numbers. If Namath and Maynard are on there, am I missing anyone, I know Weeb is there but he’s a coach, who else deserves the honor?

They ended up retiring Klecko’s number in December 2004. Which makes three with Maynard and Namath (both of whom I was lucky enough to be at that game during the halftime ceremony).

On top of Winston Hill’s 4 Pro-Bowls. he also had a number of AFL All-star game invites before the merger, so he could be another consideration.

Very cool, will pass along the list to my freinds. Fond memories of all. How about Marvin Powell, five straight pro bowl appearance?
Anyone with 4 pro bowls appearences in a Jets uniform deserves to have his number retired, in my not so humble opinion.
