Barlow was a panic move when the Suggs deal fell through, rookie mistake, they are entitled to one of those.

Cutting Barrett would be a big mistake, he would immediately become the third best corner on the open market and would command more than he is scheduled to earn in 07.

He was slowed by injury last year, if they do not like him they should at least keep him and trade him when he gets healthy, can get a pick for him. Its not like they need room to get under the cap.

I have to admit the Barlow trade is one of the few bad moves made by the new regime of Tannenbaum and Mangini, LLC. He was solid in goal line and in the New England game, but other then that Barlow had few bright spots. I guess I wouldn't be that upset if we traded a 6th or 7th, but a 4th round pick seemed like a little much at the time. I know Blaylock was horrible and Houston was always banged up, but I think we could have gotten by with Washington, Blaylock and Houston sharing the load. It will be interesting to see if Barlow starts running his mouth about the Jets when he gets cut, remember he did the same thing when the Niners traded him.

I wonder what other guys may be at risk of getting cut? David Barrett?
