While not exactly a superstar signing, I would still see any of the trio of Colombo, Davis and Black as an upgrade over Clement. Maybe I'm just overcompensating in my attempt to avoid the homer appraisal of our own players, but Clement's impact was rather underwhelming, and his entire career seems to have him on sub-par offensive lines making me wonder if he wasn't a part of his team's lack of success at that front for so many years. I will agree that I think Moore was worth keeping though, the DT free agent crop is thin this year, paper thin, and if my memory serves me, I don't remember him being that expensive. Maybe we'll try to Chris Baker him.

I agree I would definitely want to bring Rashad Moore back. He's as big as a house and he's still pretty young. I hope the Jets feel the same way.

Two interesting notes, A Clement at OT and R Moore at DT are just about the biggest players available at their position.

Moore is restricted, hopefully they bring him back, thought he flashed last year until he broke his hand.

If they are going to improve over Clement it will have to be via trade or draft.

Two quick articles I came across today:

First of all AP is reporting that Derrick Blaylock and Bobby Hamilton have been released, although the team hasn't released the information publicly yet:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-jets-blaylock&prov=ap&type=lgns

Secondly, Dr Elliott Pellman has resigned from the chair position on the NFL's committee on concussions. Given earlier posts here several months ago, I thought you'd all be interested.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-pellmanresigns&prov=ap&type=lgns

I am surprised that Blaylock and Hamilton are the only ones mentioned. Could there be more forthcoming?

Ravens waived Jamal Lewis. I don't want guys with character issues on my team, but it's another name that I'm sure you'll hear linked to us in FA.
