It’s Spring time! Spring means that the animals start coming out of hibernation, the birds begin chirping again and the snow and ice that has lay like a blanket on the ground gives itself up.
It also looks like it means that Bill Belichick and Eric Mangini might be working through their past uglinesses.
“The fact of the matter is when he did take the job, I said complimentary things. I meant the things I said. It was a professional decision he had to make. I know it’s his first [head coaching] job and that’s a significant opportunity. It’s just unfortunate where things went from there.
I have to imagine that he’s referring to the “roster raiding” (Tim Dwight & Matt Chatham) or trying to take other assistants (like Brian Daboll) or the Deion Branch “tampering” charges, or maybe all three.
Thanks to Ferragamo for bringing this story to our attention.

Didnt belichick do the same thing to the jets/parcells when he left? I’m almost positive that Charlie weis and Romeo Crenell were jet coaches who belichick took with him. He’s a baby.

Definitely a case of what’s good for the goose isn’t good for the gander. BB will do anything to win, not leave any stone uncovered in an attempt to create an edge, but when someone else does it, he cries ‘foul’.
That guy would’ve been fired after 2 seasons if Brady didn’t fall into his lap.

Hmmm, I’m conflicted. Do we root for the Cold War freeze to thaw, in the hopes that Belichick might then be less focused on revenge against us on the playing field? Or, do we root for the war to continue, so that we maintain a continual source of never-gets-old jokes about the Hoodie and his nose-picking owner?
