News: Bengal OL Stacy Andrews Visits Hempstead

The Cincinnati Enquirer has reported that the Jets have brought in another RFA, and possible competition on the right side. Stacy Andrews (6’7″ 342) from the Bengals.

6’7″ 342? Jeebus!!!

Are you getting a feeling for who they like to pair across from Brick? Andrews has backed up during his time in Cinci, but could provide some good depth for the Jets. Andrews was tendered the $1.3 million offer, so the Jets would be forced to give up a second rounder to get him. The question is, is he worth it this year? Or as Mike Reiss puts it, are they just doing “advanced scouting” work for next season?

    Don’t worry, he left without a contract. Jets obviously doing advanced scouting for when he becomes a UFA next year, which was probably the deal with Gay too.
