Don’t watch the first three quarters. Ugh!

(Although maybe it makes the end sweeter due to the “Arnie in the booth” and “JT on the mic” segments.

Someone should “live” blog it here! (not me – I can’t get NFLN).

I like the look under every rock approach that has Tangini checking out the Sienna TE/Power Forward. I just hope their caution in moving on this does not result in him starting for someone else.

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if we found our own Antonio Gates.

  3. I was at the Monday Night Miracle – it was the most exciting game I ever attended and I was hoarse for three days after. Unfortunately, I could never find a copy. I can’t get NFLN – what’s even worse is I’ll be away from May 21 to June 9. If anyone can burn me a dvd I’d be happy to pay for your time.

Agreed it would be an amazing story if the basketball player became the NFL pro. Even better if he became a star in the league for us.
I can still remember Jumbo Elliot’s face as he cradles that ball from Testeverde in the endzone. It was like he just got a christmas present. Great game to watch, especially Jason Taylor’s face at the end of the game. BTW, was that the game that started the undefeated streak against the Fins?

Nah, that was in 2000. We swept them in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001.

I was just watching the game from 2001 the other day when they were 17-0 at the half and came back to win 21-17. Good times.

I wish I got the NFL Network, but I can’t afford a good cable system. I loved watching that game on TV that night and I didn’t turn it off so I got to see the comeback. It was awesome, especially Jumbo’s after he made his catch! That was the ONLY highlight of the Al Groh era.

By the way I came across this article today. I guess we will be seeing a lot more of Vilma now that he is is going to be hawking Campbell’s soup now.

SNY really dropped the ball, move Hobson to the outside, that’s really funny, if we’re moving Hobson to the outside might as well move Kerry Rhodes to safety due to the Revis pick.

With my apologies to those hearing this for the thousandth time, my MNM experience was quite amusing. Obviously I was trying not to yell my head off at the TV while we were losing, because in England it was like 4 or 5 in the morning, which was wacky enough.

They made the awesome comeback, sent it to OT and then on the first possession of OT, the British studio guys (who had already been forced to move their broadcast to a closet!) came on the air and said “we are soooo sorry about this, but it’s 6 am and time for breakfast news” and they took the game off the air! Can you believe it?!?!

I had no internet access and didn’t even know the final score until they showed it on the following night’s baseball broadcast. Somehow just getting it to OT was a result in itself, I am never confident when the Jets are playing, but I knew we must have gone on to win. I loved the Chrebet diving catch and couldn’t believe it when the Fins scored on their next possession. I think Coles scored his first NFL TD that night too.

  9. Not that I am a fan of Al Groh, but I have to disagree with SJFalcon2001 that “That was the ONLY highlight of the Al Groh era.”

What about the Tampa Bay game, with Chrebet catching the TD pass from C. Martin and Abraham causing those fumbles? I screamed so much at the end of that game that I had a headache for hours!!!
