News: Jets Waive Jesse Allen

by Bassett on June 16th, 2007 at 11:01 am

The Jets have waived unrestricted free agent Jesse Allen, former Virginia Tech Fullback.

So many of these players are let go, but here’s to hoping he can catch on with another team. Although it might not mean anything, this signals to me that the Jets are secure with potential starter Darian Barnes and project player Stacey Tutt.

I feel the Jets made a good choice picking up Jesse Allen from Virginia Tech. I watched this kid grow from park & rec football to college, I’m a big Jets fan and we are proud to see one of our own from ths Springfield, MA area go pro. Jesse is deffinitely pro material and the jets wont regret picking him up.

    Thanks

The Jets made a huge mistake waiving this kid. He was all heart, strong as an ox, and would have developed into a good player…Barnes and Tutt got nothing on this kid…The Jets get what they deserve and they never deserved this kid anyway! Hope he comes over to the Patriots.
