Late rounder IMO. I didn’t have him on my radar at all. I don’t know the circumstances as to why he is entering the suppwitdat draft, but maybe the Jets have taken a look in case no-one bids for him and he becomes a FA.

Referring back to my notes, 12 months ago he was only 285, but he is 6′4″ which suggests maybe he could get to 310-315 without losing any of his mobility, which is his strong suit. He could do with being more aggressive in the running game, but maybe that would come with the added weight.

Definitely a project, which says to me that the Kendall situation may be largely irrelevant.

I thought that the interesting thing about the Jets’ interest in Chris Patrick was that he projects as an NFL guard…a position that will get thinner once Kendall is released. I wonder what round he would be projected for? 4th or 5th seems appropriate for an OT to OG conversion project.

Well unless it’s Buttle, Esiason or Lnow hayons I don’t know too much about that, but many of them are focusing on fatherhood and have young sons hoping to make it to the NFL, such as Marques Murrell, Nick Toon, Michael Zordich Jr., and James Hasty Jr (and we already have Marion Barber III). Then, on a completely different note, you have Brittany Gastineau, not that she has anything to do with her father.

John Riggins nearly bought a British league franchise about 15 years ago and Namath obviously pops up from time to time. I guess if this sort of thing really interested you, you could look back at when they named the teams of each decade a few years ago. They are bound to have mentioned what guys are up to now.

R in CT, I love when people reference some old Jets names, like you did with Rob Moore, get’s me thinking about Terrance Mathis and Rob Carpenter.
It would really be nice to have a “where are they now” type of thing where we can see what some of these guys are up to.

Correct. We took Nagle in the second round that year.

Does anyone else find it amusing that we are getting sanctioned as a result of Moore and Clement actually picking up a blitz? How was Mangini supposed to have expected that to happen?

So what your saying is, in 1991 the Jets didnot have a 1st rounder becuase they used it in the supplimental draft the year before?
