The cut of Tim Dwight is a very good sign. Mangini must be pleased with his current WR corps to cut one of his guys.

I didn’t get to see the most recent game. Does anyone have a sense of how the competition is shaking out for the 3rd and 4th WR spots?
-
Justin McCareins, Brad Smith, Chansi Stuckey, Wallace Wright
-
You think we will take 4 wrs or 5
-
Also happy to see Andre Wadsworth to make these rounds of cuts

Daunte Ridgeway didn’t even get off the plane yet and he is already cut…poor guy..thanks for coming out Daunte.

None of the cuts were surprising to me. As to 3rd WR, McCarreins has wrapped that up in my opinion. He had another good game. I would think that Smith has #4 locked up. As to #5, I would be shocked if rookie Stuckey doesn’t make team. If Smith is laso #3 QB, then the JETS will carry 6 WRs.

Frisman Jackson (#18) still has a chance to stick at WR, but I guess he’s behind Stuckey, McCareins, Smith and Wright.
-
I’m surprised Manny Collins isn’t on that list. He looked really bad in the Giant game.

If they carry 4 QBs, does the rule about inactive QBs then move to the 4th QB?
I.E., if Tui is kept as the true emerg. QB but Smith stays listed as a QB, does Smith stay eligible to enter the game at any time as a WR?

No more Juan Wong. Could have been everyone’s favorite Jet.
Shame about Tim Dwight though. Thought he could have contirbuted. Age and injuries.
