Film Room: Alphabet Positions!! Jets on Sesame Street

I linked to it surreptitiously this morning, but if you haven’t seen the work that Mangini, Pennington, Coles and Graham did on Sesame Street, here’s the footage. Two things come to mind:

  1. Ben Graham deserves an Emmy for his masterful performance as a football player. (Just kidding Ben, love ya! Ver dinkum!)
  2. Now I know why Coles is always complaining about training camp. Did you see what a taskmaster Mangini was when it came to doing the alphabet? Now they just need to channel that energy on beating actual playoff bound contenders.

    I’ve been tivo’ing sesame street for my 2yr old, can’t wait to see it!

    Who says that Chad doesn’t have an arm!? He knoked Elmo on his ass! Woul be hard to keep a straight face though.

    At least Graham said “Zee” and not “Zed”

    I think he gets some credit for that.

    “Okay men, Alphabet Positions…” Well, they’re not winning any Emmys with that performance. They might give Walt Frazier and Keith Hernandez a run for their money though!
