Their offensive line (especially Samson Satele) was much better than in their other two games too. You could say that is due to the fact that the Jets have a worse defense, but at least part of the credit must go to them for making adjustments. Gone were the silly mental errors that had plagued them the last two weeks.

I am forced to overdose on the Fins (and Giants), because all their games are being shown to try to drum up interest for the London game. This may actually have the opposite effect, as both teams could be in last place by then!

Sean, the screens were most effective when the Jets were basically in a prevent defense and that's troubling for a whole bunch of reasons. I saw a lot of poor tackling and refusals to take on blockers. Also, to give the Fins their due, Ronnie Brown had his best day as a pro. He ran hard, fast and decisively.

It's not Mangini's fault- when you have a team that is constantly forced to blitz to generate any kind of pressure, you're going to be vulnerable to screen passes. That's just how it works. If he was able to get more pressure from a standard four man rush, it wouldn't be an issue. As it is, an offense just has to guess right with the screen and it's going to be open.

While he is working on defending the screen pass Mangini may want to revisit the play from an offensive perspective too.

I dunno, it seemed to work pretty good last year, why would they want to run one this year.
