Herm Edwards and Eric Mangini are both defensive coaches. KC has built a very good defense under Edwards ranking 4th overall in the NFL so far this year. The Jets defense, under Mangini, continues to regress just as the Patriots defense regressed under Mangini in his one year as DC of the Pats. Myopic Jet fans, dumped by Herm in 2005 are more content throwing Bob Sutton under the bus, just as they were ready to throw Chad Pennington under the bus two weeks ago. If he doesn't get hurt in 2003, he probably would've led the Jets to the playoffs. 2. If he doesn't get hurt in 2005, he probably would've led the Jets to the playoffs. 3. If Herm Edwards wasn't his head coach, Chad would've won a SUPER BOWL! The more I watch Pennington, the more I realize three things:
