Sean – I like the way you think. How come we get all the bad breaks when it comes to QB injury, including Vinny’s fluke in jury against NE in ’99? Even when we knocked out Bledsoe, they get dumb-lucky and find out Brady is great. That should have been the end of NE & Belicheat right there.

I have to say, all I’m rooting for in that re-match is that the Jets break Tom Brady’s leg. Really, it’s high time we usher in the Matt Cassel era.

I don’t think it’s a question of being put on notice, but rather an acknowldegement that Chad would be most effective throwing 25 times a game, often off of play action. The problem has been that the team hasn’t had a decent running performance in two years, so it hasn’t been an option. Against Philly, they were running well. If they were running poorly, Chad would have put the ball up 30+.
