that clemens “no vote of confidence” story is a strange piece. it starts out saying it’s not a good sign mangini has not inserted him yet — but then shows the practical reasoning of why mangini hasn’t made the change yet (the gravity and finality of the decision, etc…), almost arguing against the whole premise of the piece (vote of no confidence). which is it?
Jeff, couldn’t agree more. The story is very contradictory and makes little sense. It’s as if they want to argue both sides.
