Mangini was asked during the post-game press conference about what he thought of the team’s progress this season.
Sometimes that’s just about being able to take a step back and really look at what we’re doing, evaluate the things we like and see where we can improve. I’m happy with the way the guys have worked over the course of the season, and sometimes
it doesn’t come around as quickly as you’d like, and you don’t make the progress you’d like as quickly as you’d like to, but I’m happy with the progress we have made over the past few weeks.
Consider this last bit of the season now the “playoffs” for the Jets. We’ll find out for sure what the progress is in the next three weeks as the Jets play teams (CLE, NE, TEN) with a combined 25-10 record. Can the Jets return the favor and make Cleveland’s playoff shot as precarious as Cleveland did for the Jets last year?
