As some of you may recall, my view was that Moss gave a poor effort in his last year here and I was glad to be rid of him. Give me a guy with heart like Coles or Chrebet over that anytime.

I felt that Moss went from a weapon coming off a season in which he scored 10TDs with a past-it Vinny and a coming-off-an-injury Chad throwing him the ball to a guy who bailed out of passes over the middle and ran sideways out of bounds with almost every punt (except the one in the Pittsburgh game and one in the Houston game) and still believe the Coles trade was a good move, both financially and in terms of the player we ended up with.

LC vs. Santana "killa" Moss......I was HEATED when we traded for coles....we Moss did not get enough looks to produce stats when he was in green and white. Once he started get looks he ripped it up...At the end of the day, stats do not lie. I dont know what their stat comparisons have been since the trades ( i think coles did better) but that (and team first persona) is what makes them worthwhile offensive weapons....if coles comes back great!! hes a soldier teams would kill for that type of competitor onboard....if he doesnt give the young bucks a shot!!! Smith and Wright and whatever other talent with have a chance to step up and build some repoire with clemens in the offseason.

I think clemens knows what it takes now...hes seen it first hand...he is gonna HUSTLE HARD in the offseason to get there...

LINES: we need to invest here (shouldve continually focused on it through the years) and let everyone shine...

Vilma and Harris in the middle, hobson and dwayne on the outsides...thats sounds like a pretty diesel 4!! on top of that we have HOLLYWOOD AND REVIS too!? i think we need a guy like wilfork or haynesworth to clog the middle, and we are all set!!

Leon and jones.....one they realize how to utlize both (jones needs carries to get'er done & leon needs a better line to shake and bake'em) we will be all set....

IM READY FOR NEXT YEAR TODAY!!

mangini is pissed about this season...these guys are gonna get worked HARD!!!!!!!!!! Next years schedule is very doable!!

Had a blast this season!!! didnt get to meet any of you TJB people....Come see us next season 18C for parking (we are there early, bring an appetite) Section 137 during the game....Look for the throwback Salaam jersey....

Can someone explain to me why Vilma playing next to David Harris won't free him up to play in the 3-4?

I'm sorry, but saying Moss is thriving in the prime of his career is delusional at best. Have you seen the guy drop the ball so often he benched himself... because I did. It was sickening to see him give up o his team because he was having a bad game. You don't take yourself out in that situation; that's no different than Randy Moss walking off the field late in a game as his team attempted an onside kick. Santana Moss is a quitter and Coles had a bad year this year for him... but that was because even when he was dinged up he was sacrificing himself for wins that many deemed meaningless. Look at Kellen Clemens games this year and ask yourself when the Jets did well... it was when Coles was on the field.
