Rodney Knows Not Irony

by Bassett on January 30th, 2008 at 11:55 pm

Yesterday during Media Day, the press tried to corner Rodney Harrison on the subject of performance enhancing drugs.

“Time heals all wounds,” he said Monday. “But at the same time, being forthright and being honest – those are the things that I’m probably most proud of. My message to young kids basically was, ‘Hey, you make a mistake, own up to it, accept your consequences and move forward.’ We, as people, have to do that. I mean, we all have skeletons in our closet. No one’s perfect here. The way you make amends is by becoming a better person.”

He is right, none of us are perfect, and yes, Rodney did admit to his mistakes … but mistakes that he made ongoing for over two years and that he only owned up to after being caught in an Albany area investigation on an Internet drug scam. Rodney backpedaled when this all came out and said that he did it to “accelerate the healing process.”

So sure, time heals all wounds, but HGH just accelerates the process.

When 40 year old linebackers -after retirment- get rejuvanated in New England and play like they are 25, it is must be BeliCHEAT’s sytem. When injured they get HGH which heals their wounds but it does not enhance performance and if it does is by accident. Let’s go steroid PATS!!!
