Asante Samuel Tries to Jump the Route

Free agent corner the Jets are targeting, was caught by an AP photog targeting Aureana Tseu (former Miss Teen Hawaii) during team pictures for the Pro Bowl in Hawaii last week.

I saw this picture and thought it was mildly humorous.  Along with this, apparently Patriots players were booed at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.  Not common practice I’m guessing in the Aloha State, but maybe it’s got something to do with Patriots players like Asante Samuel leering at their locals.

Keep the comments PG rated!!!

I have nothing PG rated to say.

We have Justin Miller coming back. If healthy, I would give him a shot a corner. If we put no pressure on the QB, you could bring back Darrell Green and it wouldn’t make a difference. Spend the money on the O-Line and the D-Line.

Keith Traylor has been cut by the Dolphins, any interest?

If Parcells can’t use him on a 1-15 team, the Jets cannot use him.

    must be nice

I love booing cheaters. I hope they are booed forever until they are punished correctly for their cheating. Goddell is sweating bullets about his league being investigated. He should have suspended Bellicheat.

Apparently all was going well for Samuel, but then when he had a chance to seal the deal, it slipped through his fingers and Eli Manning swooped in instead. I guess he isn’t as good at bump and run as we all thought.

I read a quote today which basically suggested Asante wants to stay in NE and may take a below market level deal to do this. I guess the salary cap is only restrictive for those teams that haven’t cheated their way to “contender” status. Ummm, allegedly.

O line/ D line that is what makes a team (see NY Giants) DB’s all look very good when a Dline puts pressure on a QB which is something that we have forgotten how to do wthe current regime!

Well in the 3-4 the LBs put pressure on the QBs more. So lets get some OLBs!

Here’s my quote: “No, I wasn’t talking about your flowers; I was telling you that my tat says ‘Get PAID.’”

On an unrealted note: LG ALERT, LG ALERT, LG ALERT!!!! Carolina cut LG Mike Wahle, who started all 16 games at LG in ’07. He’s not Jordan Gross, but he’ll come way cheaper and he’ll turn 30 in the fall. The Navy grad (that’s a big check on the scorecard for character) has great size: 6-6, 304. The perfect guy to man LG between Brick and Mangold.

    SD99 –

I came here to say the same thing about Wahle. I also saw that the Titans might not be able to sign both Albert Haynesworth (likely to be franchised) and DE Antwan Odom, who is coming off an 8-sack season. I know Tennesse runs a 4-3, but Odom is only 26 and might look great in green and white. The only problem is after a season like that, it’ll probably be a bidding war for him.

R in CT, if he’s signed, the left side becomes the “Gold-Brick-Wahle.”

They shd just sign Wahle based on that nickname “Gold-brick-wall”. How bad can he be as compared to 2007 anyways.
