Sporting News Rates Jets by Position

In last week’s Sporting News NFL Insider section, they rated all the teams in the league, ranking them on a five point scale. Here are the Jets’ grades:

QB — 2
RB — 3
WR/TE — 3
OT — 2
G — 3
C — 4
DE — 3
DT — 2
OLB — 2
ILB — 3
CB — 3
S — 4
ST — 3
TOTAL — 37

FYI, only 6 teams had lower total scores. I don’t take offense with too much of the ratings, but I do think that the WRs are undervalued and can’t fathom that Guard is ranked higher than Tackle.

    OLB, OG, OT. Sporting news and I think alike although I can’t believe they gave OG a 3.DT is servicable but could improve.

    matt your rating except for the safety…i would go with a 4 for safety…just my thoughts…
