If the NFL were to auction the shirts off and then use the money for charity, they would have been able to donate a lot more than these shirts to the WorldVision cause. It reminds me of the M*A*S*H episode where someone donated chocolate bars to the locals, but they inturn then traded the bars for rice which was more valuable. I like the gesture, but it's a little too much PR and not enough substance to me.
