Bubba Franks Contract Terms Disclosed

Rich Cimini writes in the Daily News that the Bubba Franks deal is a one-year contract worth $1.65 million.

Low-risk move. They are asking him to be a secondary TE, who can block and catch on the occasion when needed, nothing more. Better this money than the $3 million that Utecht required.

I was about to bash the signing of Bubba Franks and say whats the point when we dont have a QB that is strong team leader that possess pocket awareness (KC) or a QB that doesnt have the arm strength and is easily injured (CP).
Then I thought about the Superbowl winning Giants and Eli.
All the critics said alot of those things about Eli, (lacking team leadership/ inaccurate passer under pressure/ does not have good pocket awareness) and look what they did.
So……maybe Kellen could get it done. I love CP but sometimes you just have to look at it realistically.
As I have said most of my life: “Its not easy being a Jet fan”.

I would not be surprised if he does not make the team.

Bubba Franks is a big physical guy who can also block and catch the ball
