WR Malcolm Kelly Going to Drop?

ESPN’s Hashmarks reports that Malcolm Kelly’s refusal to show his speed and skills until April 9th might ultimately cost him, as scouts are getting restless.

I talked to an AFC scout last night who said that several teams were losing patience with Kelly …  “If the kid’s not going to work out, we’re not going to touch him in the first round,” said the scout. “He may be a star in the league for all I know, but he’s not doing himself any favors right now.”

Two months ago I had hoped that Kelly would be there at the top of the second round, maybe that’s not so far-fetched anymore …  we’ll just have to wait and see what happen during his Pro Day.

  1. its 3 or 4 wr. equal or better than him in this draft anyway so no matter what there will be a decent wr.in the 2nd.round for us.

  2. I agree….not sure who we would go after at the WR spot but they are all closely grouped in this yr’s draft

  3. Let me save the scouts some time. He is a good athlete on gameday. How well he runs a forty yard dash, obstacle course or egg n’ spoon race is unlikely to have much of a bearing on that.

  4. its like going out and geting a new car whithout tet driving it.The problem with few players coming out of the draft is that they think they are better then they are they come into the NFL and you never hear thier name again.let him sit.and wach all the oter teams pass him bye
