WR Malcolm Kelly Going to Drop?

ESPN’s Hashmarks reports that Malcolm Kelly’s refusal to show his speed and skills until April 9th might ultimately cost him, as scouts are getting restless.

I talked to an AFC scout last night who said that several teams were losing patience with Kelly …  “If the kid’s not going to work out, we’re not going to touch him in the first round,” said the scout. “He may be a star in the league for all I know, but he’s not doing himself any favors right now.”

Two months ago I had hoped that Kelly would be there at the top of the second round, maybe that’s not so far-fetched anymore …  we’ll just have to wait and see what happen during his Pro Day.

    its 3 or 4 wr. equal or better than him in this draft anyway so no matter what there will be a decent wr.in the 2nd.round for us.

    I agree….not sure who we would go after at the WR spot but they are all closely grouped in this yr’s draft

    Let me save the scouts some time. He is a good athlete on gameday. How well he runs a forty yard dash, obstacle course or egg n’ spoon race is unlikely to have much of a bearing on that.
