News: Goodell Likely to Get Involved With Scofflaw Pennington
Uh oh … looks like the veteran Jets QB is in hot water now. It seems that Pennington has been training in Bradenton Florida at IMG and has gotten himself on the wrong side of the law according to the Orlando Sentinel.
A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer had just the opposite reaction when Pennington handed him his fishing license during a routine check … Pennington mistakenly thought the Florida fishing license he had purchased included both salt- and freshwater, but it allowed saltwater privileges only. Officer Garret Fields let Pennington escape with only a warning ticket.
Chad, I think it’s time you come clean and throw yourself at the mercy of Roger Goodell. It’s your only defense now.

I heard there are actual photos of him purchasing the license in a saltwater only licensing facility as well as empty cans of mountain dew he drank while at the facility. I smell senate hearing.

He is supposed to be a role model and here he is fresh water fishing without a fresh water license. He knew what the license was for. If he gets us docked the 6th pick I’ll get him. I can’t believe I had him pegged so wrong. He seemed like such an upstanding guy

I mean even the dolphins are getting a good laugh out of this. our “leader” quarterback was skipping training with his team to go fishing in boca raton. Kinda reminds me of my very jewish grandpa, except for the whole football thing. lol

Not to mention the obvious bad character the guys has trying to fish in fresh water with a saltwater license.
