If we trade up to #4, we would be crazy not to take D-Mac. Thomas Jones is a mediocre runningback, at best. Look what the explosiveness of AP did for the Vikings last year. Now I’m not saying we don’t have a pressing need for an edge rusher, but I’m sick of watching the Jets through 3-yard outs on third and 10. We need someone who can consistantly move the chains and occassionally rip off big chunks or go all the way!

Sorry for the late entry here. Draz67 wins the king sized Kewpie Doll for a post without a single disagreement about DRobb.

This is such a great idea, it raises the question for me: Is there anyone that Tangini rate so highly that they would forgo this deal (or delay making it until the draft) because they want him as much as they wanted Revis and Harris last year?

That will be the intriguing thing with this year’s draft.

if such a trade takes place will be great…to have 3 picks that close to each other will make things a whole lot more interesting thats for sure…just my thoughts…

Thats not too bad. Think about it, currently DRob’s trade value is about a fifth round draft pick (maximum 43 points). So the Jets would be giving their first round pick (1,600 points) and DRob to denver for their first (1,200 points) and second (480) round picks. That would in essence make DRob worth a forth round pick, much better then the current going price of a fifth. However, would Denver want to move up in the draft?

That is actually a great idea, I am all for trading down and getting more picks. That deal would make me very happy. I have been screaming for them to trade down for months. They have most of their spots filled for starters, but they can draft a bunch of role players that are affordable and can help the team. At 12 they could still get one of the best corners in the draft. I say they trade down one more time and draft ANTOINE CASON AT LIKE 17 OR 18!
