Happy Trails to T-Rock …
After writing last week that I thought Tom Rock was a good person, he went out and broke my heart … it would seem he’s going to be covering the Jersey Divas now for Newsday. Harrumph!
In all seriousness, Rock has done a great job since replacing Ken Berger a few years back. We’re sad he’s going, but from seeing some of Erik Boland’s work from time to time, we’ll be expecting good things to come …

I’m sad to see Rock go, I thought he was the best of the Jets beat writers. Might not be saying much, but compared to cannizario & cimini he did an awesome job.

This sucks… T-Rock was consistently very good. Things will never be the same when I scan all 3 major New York papers while waiting for my breakfast at the deli each morning, to see if there are JETS articles in any of them.

Tom ROck isstill the man, even if he is going to the Giants blog. Let’s hope Eric does a decent job as his replacement otherwise we may end up needing to do a letter writing compaign to Newsday.

I’ve read some of Erik’s fill in stuff on other sports … I think he’ll do a good job … although he is from Cleveland so I fear he wears rubber dogmasks to the team for which he cheered as a kid.
