Last Year for the Draft in NYC?

by Bassett on April 13th, 2008 at 11:51 am

Well fellas, it might be that the NFL has grown tiresome of us boisterous Jets fans at the Draft. Since this is the last year of the NFL’s contract with Radio City, the NFL might be looking to take the show to other cities in the future.

I for one hope that this is not the case, and that it stays in New York. The thought of the Draft being broadcast live from wonderful war-torn Detroit doesn’t exactly have the same feel for me.

Was a time when the majority of TOTAL PEOPLE in the room at the NFL Draft were Jets fans. As the Jets’ picks generally made the fans apoplectic, this made for great theater.

SNY would hate it because then the 1st rounder couldn’t just walk across the street for an interview.
