The NFL has sent out six invitations to players for the NFL Draft.
Chris Long, Jake Long, Vernon Gholston, Matt Ryan, Glenn Dorsey and Darren McFadden will all be on hand for the festivities. All players are sure-fire top ten picks, so don’t expect any train-wrecks this year the likes of the Brady Quinn / Aaron Rodgers free-falls in the past few seasons … sorry guys.

I think you might even be able to throw Ryan in there, too — it wouldn’t shock me if he tumbled a bit. I mean, look at the teams last year (Miami, Minnesota …) who (seemingly) desperately needed a QB last year and passed on Quinn, who seemed to be an equal, if not better, prospect.

I got my invite in the mail. I am psyched. I will be the first jew off the board

Ryan and McFadden could each fall out of the top ten, but now that it’s ten minutes per pick instead of fifteen, it wouldn’t look as bad as it might have last year.

Sure fire. Draft. Are you kidding?
While it is unlikely that Dorsey’s knees or McFadden’s predilection for baby making but not marriage will drop them out of the top ten, given team needs and viable alternatives (Sedrick Ellis at DT and Mendenhall and Stewart at RB) and a plethora of solid OTs, it could happen.
While no one expects a train-wreck this draft, who predicted Quinn and Rodgers draft slots the past two years?
