It is interesting that Rooney endorsed Obama. Also intersting that our inbred dweeb owner was a George W. Bush pioneer who bundled millions of dollars and gave it to Bush over several decades beginning with Bush’s runs for Texas Governer.
What’s wrong with Gary Myers? A year ago he said the Jets were overrated beneficiaries of softest NFl schedule and he predicted an 8-8 second Tangini season.. He was overestimating the team. It seems that to some Jet fans the only impartia beat writer is those who where a Kellen Clemens shirt, wave green pom-poms and take their Green Kool Aid intraveneously.
Tangini can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat by drafting Matt Ryan, if available. Championships are won by franchise QB’s. If he turns out to be a bust , so what? It will set the team back a few years, but what’s a few years when a championship for the Jets is now in a 40 year drought.
I tried to read Gary Myers article, but I couldn’t. I opened it, took a look at frog-face’s picture, read two lines and had to close the window. That guy is such an idiot – he knows so little about football, it is scary that he has a job.
It not that he doesn’t like the Jets that makes me hate him, it’s that he is the epitome of a **** stirring, sensationalist, anything misleading thing to get a headline type writer. He is exactly what writers shouldn’t be – more interested in what makes a “good” story than the truth. The fact that he is occasionally right doesn’t mean that he knows what he is talking about, because he is usually wrong. What is it they say about 1000 monkeys with typewriters and Shakespeare…
it’s astonishing that writing with substantive cont5ent as poor as meyers’ is published by an actual newspaper. high school kids with a blog can write more thoughtfully.
