Who Wants to Attend the Draft?
With enough people on the blog these days, and the Jets in contention for some interesting developments on Saturday, who wants to go to the Draft?
Here’s the details from NFL.com
The NFL Draft is a free event; however seating is extremely limited.
The following procedure applies to Saturday only:
Wristbands to secure a ticket and entry into the Draft will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26 on the 50th Street side of Radio City Music Hall. All persons wishing to attend the Draft must be present in order to receive a wristband. No exceptions will be made. Please remember that fans arrive very early. Fans who receive wristbands will then be able to line up beginning at 1:00 p.m. with doors opening at 1:45 p.m.
Fan entry will take place at the “Carriage Door Entrance” located on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
So … who’s going to attend? Cruise Ship Director D-Rose (always fun to hang with) wants to attend, and is interested in leading the charge. If you want to go and cheer on the Jets first round pick, then leave us a comment (and make sure to put a legit email in that line as you leave a comment) or shoot us an email directly at thejetsblog@gmail.com. We’ll be sure to send out a note on tomorrow or Friday with more information on banding together.

i will be there wat time is everyone gonna go to wait in line….i was thinkin bout just waitin all nite and going at like 1 am….. this is my first time so i wanna make sure i am up front in line….

I’m in also and I am also a first-timer. i understand they give out the wristbands at 10 am but don’t you have to get there really early? I agree let’s have all ofus meet up and be the voice of Radio City

gang, i chose McFadden’s just cause it was close to Grand Central and based on the name … nothing more sinister than that. :)
I will be at mcfaddens and be sending on an email to folks who have replied so far … looks like a small group … maybe 10-15 at this point.
