Buzz: Have the Rams Made Their Choice?
Saint Louis is looking to make teams eager to get above others with a report coming out of the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch today.
At this point, all signs seem to be pointing to Louisiana State defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey as the Rams’ choice. But there is also sentiment for defensive end Chris Long of Virginia, and to a lesser degree Ohio State’s Vernon Gholston.
And as of Wednesday evening, one team official said, “It’s not a clear-cut choice.”
Bull. If an NFL team can’t set their board three days before the draft, they should just quit and give us their jobs, oh wait, maybe that’s why the Rams are drafting second overall anyway. This is a clear plan to flush any potential prey (like the Jets for Ryan, or the Saints for Dorsey) into a swap of picks.

question for all:
if Chris Long were to fall to 5, and considering KC’s need for a DE now, what would you be willing to give the Chiefs to move up 1 spot to take him?
would the Chiefs go for a ‘09 2nd?
too high a price, no more than a 4th this year
It depends who else is available – if Gholston and Long both fall to 5, then I think we just let the Chiefs pick and we’ll take whichever one is left. Our fourth round picks are guaranteed starters based on the past years.
Chad, D-Rob, and Bradway.
