Rams GM Not Showing Hand
Rams’ GM Bill Devaney was on SportsCenter just as I was leaving the hotel this morning. On it, he stated that the Rams had made their decision on who they were taking as the second pick, barring a trade, which sounded unlikely. He didn’t say who the player was, but did say that he expects “him to be a pillar of our defense” for years to come. Since it’s Dorsey or Long, it’s not saying much. One can hope they reach for Vernon Gholston, but that seems unlikely.
The fact that the decision was agreed to last night makes me think they re-thought their pick, which leads me to Chris Long.
ESPN a few minutes ago stated that the Rams will be selecting Chris Long….So if the Falcons go Ryan, Raiders will go Dorsey over McFadden and then McFadden will fall to the Jets!!!
