With the 171st Pick of the Draft …
… the Jets select Marcus Henry, WR from Kansas …
6-4
210 pounds
4.56 40 yard dash
Bent and I thought that once they got Dustin Keller, the team might not be looking for another pass-catcher as there is a logjam at the back of the Depth Chart. The good news is that the best players generally stay on in logjams, so it’s not all bad. As far as his competition this summer, Henry will be fighting Chansi Stuckey, Wallace Wright, and Dave Ball at the back of the chart, so look for him to have to make some serious contributions in specials teams to stay with the team.
He’s not very fast and can drop a lot of passes. His height and vertical make him a good deep and red zone player.

Great potential because of size. Could be our Marques Colston.
i though dustin keller was supposed to be out marques colston? but seriously, i like this pick. This guys played in a big conferense, hes got great size and athleticism, and could develop into a solid receiver.
4.56 is “not very fast”?????????????
4.56 is solid speed for a wide receiver, but not fast. 4.3 is fast
Fitzgeral gets by with 4.55 pretty well.
Fitzgerald
How fast really is Stuckey? Once Chad goes down, will he be able to run in stride underneath Clemens’ bombs?
Johnny Styne, Stuckey runs 4.49 but quicker than fast.
