  1. do you guys think the jets should try and land lito sheppard from the eagles we have a lot of draft choices next yr.?he is only 26 and i think him and revis good be a nice tandem for years to come!

  2. do you guys think erik ainge have a better upside than colt brennan?because he was still available at that pick.

  3. I like Ainge, i’m looking for him to least carry that clip board at least 3,500 yards the next 2 years…If the Jets take their time with this kid he will be a solid pro.

  4. Tru dat,
Ainge needs to relax for 2-3 yrs and heall all his injuries while KC rakes up the scoresheets.
    Thats wht I’m hoping.

  5. Brennan would have been a much better pick.

  6. Andre Woodson had the most upside.

  7. Ainge may as well have been a wasted pick. Without a strong arm, regardless of how much SEC experience a guy has, he can’t be successful in the NFL.

Random thought: Another weak armed D1 qb from Tennessee? Hmm, why is that familiar?

  8. I’m not as down on Chad…I’d take another Chad over ‘I have to look out for my career’ kinda player we had with Abraham. All the talent in the world but couldn’t suit up vs. Pitt in the PLAYOFFS!!! that selfish jerk is not 1/2 the pro Chad is. Give me the football players you can keep the ‘talented’ premadonnas…Ainge looks like a player to me.

  9. I would definitely go after Sheppard for a second rounder is next year’s draft. He would complete our team with Revis on the other side. We would finally look like a team that could defeat the evil empire in Boston!

  10. i’d rather keep are 2nd pick and go with miller…i think he will bounce back and have a solid year…as for ainge…i’ll take a QB with a decent arm and accuracy any day over a guy with a rifle who can’t hit his man…like vick…and so many others…

  11. I thought we should have taked Carl Nicks instead of Ainge. Nicks would have filled a bigger need.

  12. You have to believe they don’t think as highly of Nicks as most others, given Callahan’s inside knowledge and the fact they passed on him

  13. What position does Nicks play?

  14. Nicks is a tackle, and we have enough depth at tackle. We need a developmental QB,and they picked Ainge, as opposed to my favorite or vbsiena24’s favorite, although I think he was seanmac’s favorite, just goes to show, even a stopped clock is right twice a day :D
