Poteat is a good Nickel guy, and back up, Miller is the same, just faster and with less reaction time- Woofolk, can be our number 2 CB, he needs a good surrounding cast, and does not have many miles on his tires- he was GREAT in collage, he wasn’t bad in the pro’s, just not the number 1 the titans expected.
One teams junk is another teams jewel, it happens all the time, lets hope, because if not it will be another year throwing things and cursing about the circus at the second CB position

Michael, you hit the nail on the head – our secondary is nothing great, but a strong pass rush will make them look much better than they do on paper. The other thing I’d point out is that in today’s NFL, your nickel corner spends more time on the field than ever before. So while I’m curious who ends up as the #2 CB across from Revis, the most important thing to me is to have 3 solid guys. That means two out of the Poteat-Barrett-Lowery group need to step up. I’m putting my money on Lowery to start and Poteat in the nickel.

we know the jets have done a good job at putting their draft picks on the field and having them contribute. I believe our secondary will Good at best. With Revis, rhoes, we have two play makers and having solid guys as in Barret, Poteat, Miller and now hopefully Lowery our secondary shouldn’t be much of a problem unless we don’t generate a pass rush.

Well we will see how he does in the pre-season, revis started as a rookie, rhodes was a 4th round pick, but yea starting a 4th round rookie does seem like a stretch, but he was overlooked because he was injured his senior year and didn’t post a good 40 time. I think he has a lot of potential, but I think Miller will probably end up getting the week 1 start

Why would Lowery start he is a fourth round rookie. For the second spot it is going to be between Justin Miller, Andre Woolfolk, and Hank Poteat. I think Barrett will definitely get cut post June 1st because he is costing them like 4 million on the cap. I think Lowery could end up being a good Free Safety.

I hope Lowery can be a great player in this league it seems he has the work ethic to do it… and football speed is whats important… justin miller is supposed to be the fastest man in the nfl but he gets burned all the time…. As long as Lowery plays well in camp I think he should definatly get the start in Week one… It’s Miami!! Come on I think he should fair well against John Beck and their recieving corps.. If he plays well in that game it will give him alot of confidence for week 2 and we all know who that is
