Marc Ecko to Design Flight Crew Unis

Gentlemen, get ready. Fashion wunderkind Marc Ecko is going to be re-designing the Jets Flight Crew uniforms.

“We are thrilled to have Marc on board to take the look and feel of our newly expanded Flight Crew to another level,” said Jets president Jay Cross. “Ecko is not only an area native but a world-class designer who we know will create a very unique and cutting-edge uniform design for the crew.”"When the Jets approached me to design the flight crew uniforms, I knew within a few minutes what I wanted to do,” said Ecko, chief creative officer of Marc Ecko Enterprises. “We are excited to partner with one of my hometown teams to bring a new and fresh look to the squad.”

If you don’t know Ecko, here’s what you need to know.

  • He’s the guy who stamped Bonds’ 756 with an asterisk and sent it to Cooperstown.

  • He’s the guy who caused a stir by allegedly tagging Air Force One with the phrase STILL FREE.

  • He’s the guy on Iron Chef who at the judge’s table has “asked for a moment” to be alone with Batali’s cuisine.

Ecko’s done some groundbreaking work in the area of fashion, so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with, I’m sure it’ll keep you fellas drooling.

    I recommend a velcro. Tragically, too many a flight crew has returned from their mens room sorties with a broken fingernail.
