Bent:

Thanks for watching my back.......
I paid not attention to what TJSC said for two reasons:

1) He must be a Black Panther radical and they have been erased for dacades now and

2) He must learn how to write and spell.

NY TITAN:

You're logic is reasonable under normal circumstances, however, these are not normal cicumstances. Think about it; when was the last time the Jets went out and aquired all these high priced free agents in order to change the face of the team and try ERASE from memory last years debacle? What would happen to Tangini, the team and the fans morale if our win/loss record didn't improve much. We, as long time fans have had our hopes crushed too many times before to squander our greatest hope for a winner in twenty years on a single decision. IT IS IMPERATIVE that we explore ALL our options in order to be at peace if we don't make a dramatic change in our win/loss record this year and here is my point:

By starting Clemens( and I fully understand HE IS our future, but please DO NOT count out Ainge) how long (loses) will you keep him in before you turn the team over to CP?
How many loses our frigile psyche can withstand before we throw the towel and our season out with it. If this happens we we would never know and devide ourselves to what ifs forever more. However..........
By starting Pennington(and I understand HE IS our past and present) he doesn't demand the "look that Clemens does) we can turn the team over to our future without taking a chance on our season. You must agree that it would be a lot easier to pull CP (our past) than KC (our future), right? And..........
If Kellens doesn't do it, judging from last year he is by far NOT A LOCK, then we cann look at Ainge; by this I mean we have covered all the angles. Only through this will Tangini be saved from absolute failure.
You see NY Titan, we have endured too many disappointments, we have been too loyal not to give this season dedicated with so much work, talent and money, our greatest hope for a winner (possibly a champion) in twenty and maybe forty years, become another disappointment if we don't play all our cards(players) and give ourselves our greatest chances to win.

Fonzie,

I hear what you're saying, but I think if it's a dead heat by September, the benefit of the doubt should go to KC. Right? I mean, I love Chad- think he's better than his rep, and when he had skill around him, he was very solid, but- we need to look ahead, and if these guys are dead even after camp- why not put in the guy we drafted to lead the team? If Chad beats him in camp and preseason but not by much, I think we'll still see #11 under center.

I'm going to allow it on the basis that (a) many people probably don't know what it means and (b) I am innocently assuming that what he actually meant was that he is putting Fonzie into Jon Cena's finishing submission hold to emphasise his point.

I'm watching you, though, TJSC!

Note: Before the Combine, Stuckey told ESPN that he expected to run a 4.3 - dunno why he did that if he knew he wasn't 100%. He does have that kind of speed though, but sec108 is right, he's a slot/possession guy.

Stuckey's main assets are good hands, quickness and crisp routes, he WILL NOT BE a stretch the field guy, he WILL be a decent slot reciever, which we haven't had since Chrebet retired, IF he can stay healthy.

tsjc - STFU? that doesn't sound like thejetsblog kind of talk. tsk tsk.

Fonzie: - "The benefit of the doubt must go to him to start because its the only way all bets are covered."

That statement makes no sense and means nothing. What the hell are you talking about? If Kellen Clemens is our Week 1 starter, our "bets aren't covered"?

According to the New York Jets site Stuckey ran a 4.34 40 in college.

When drafted he was recovering from a foot injury, hence the bad 40 times and why he lasted until the 7th round.

Jets need a good 3rd WR option and someone to stretch the field, let's hope Stuckey can be that guy.

Axel- prior to Stuckey re-injuring his foot/leg last season he was very impressive- looks like a true slot reciever, he runs precise routes and has soft hands- ashame he got hurt- if he can stay healthy we have a keeper!

I don't see why everybody suddenly is getting all hyped up about stuckey. Yes he's now practicing as the Jets 3'rd WR but who has he beat out for that spot? Not Brad Smith becouse he's injured. That leaves a rookie 6th rounder (Henry), a UDFA who barley started in college (Wright) and a former 5th rounder who got cut his rookie year (Clowney). Wow, that's some achievement.

Green and White - Stuckey is no where as fast as Moss! Looked it up on Wikipedia and they say he ran a 4.56 at the combine and a 4.49 on his pro day! thats nothing impressive- those are like the same numbers as Marcus Henry.
As for our CB opposite Revis, i will be happy with Hank Poteat or Miller if he is healthy. Just dont but Barret as the other starting CB!
