Thats pretty cool, and brave, being a California native and still a Jets fan. When we played the Raiders in 2002, it must've been hell.

I have been a Jet fan over forty years and in order to survive we must suffer from a full blown case of optimism or else I would have self distructed decades ago. Not only do I think its possible I am willing bet the ranch and my first born son... (he is living at home and still doesn't have a job)

pat d:

Don't fear, our passing game will be greatly improved from last year for two reasons 1) our running game is greatly improved which will allow our passing to be more successful and 2) we got DUSTIN and he'll make all our receivers better. When you add to that our QB's will finally get time to throw it will make both QB's better. My only prayer, and I love the guy, is that Mangini can fire up the troops and put everything together this year. If he does then watch out, it will be a major leap forward and in the playoffs the hottest teams win.

Our defense, especially the front seven, our o-line, and our running game may be ahead of last year. But our passing game? It has to improve some just because of our o-line. We have a bunch of number 2 and 3 receceivers, unproven receivers and a big question mark at QB. Other than that I guess our passing game is light years away from last year.

TOON2388:

You can tell that Morrison has a grudge and can't wait play the Jets. He totally avoided the question and refused to give any credit. You are right, our D, OL and passing game is light years away from last year, all these so called experts will see. We are greatly improved. Waddle wanted to answer it but fell short.

it was not meant as a wise ass question. Sure every team would love a Moss or Owens, but it is more imprtant to have a very good OL, running game, D - the pass catchers become better because they face more single coverages
