Hey pat, after watching McCareins these past couple years, it doesn't take a lot for me to become hopeful. If these receivers can make the catches that were dropped last year (e.g. Baltimore goal line) the team is already better.
It's the minicamp/ota period anyway. lots of time for cynicism during the training camp days and, of course, the regular season.

The play of Clemens with no pass rush does not inject much hope into the passing game at all.

It's exciting to hear that Keller and Henry are having a good camp. That, along with the apparent progression made by Stuckey and Clowney, really injects a lot of hope into the passing game this year. It seems like the receiver group has gotten faster, taller, deeper and more diverse.

I'm getting kind of nervous that in almost every report, both QBs aren't looking so good. At least in '06, Chad supposedly looked sharp and was the clear winner. If both aren't looking good, it could be a long year. I know it's early and there's still plenty of time, but one of them better shape up and stand out soon.

A defensive backs best friend is a good pass rush- remember this is practice- the QB and receiver have an advantage- hope Henry keeps catching everything. Hope Lowery keeps up our 4th round quality picks.

I think it's too early to read into any of this. They don't have pads on yet do they? Honestly I am not sure but I don't think they do.

I'm more happy to see Baker participating and giving his all. I also liked what Tannenbaum said about his record dealing with agents and players, 84 of them being happy. Maybe Baker overplayed his hand, his agent screwed him, and now he will just shut up and play. Mangini has kept it cordial with him and I'm sure Mr. T doesn't need to interact with CB much so that shouldn't impact his play.

Should we be happy that Henry beat Lowery, or upset that Lowery gets beat by Henry? Maybe it was perfect coverage, and Henry made a circus catch. That's the best of both worlds.
