WavetheWheat, that’s pretty smooth for the big man… showing some speed, too. I’m glad the Jets finally got that tall receiver. I’d like to see him work in the red zone.

Fred-

I would imagine Gholston would be facing a steep learning curve entering his rookie season, so I doubt that his delayed participation will have that much of an impact in his development. His natural ability alone will be the key to his success this year, so I’d expect another year or two before he’s fully acclimated to his responsibilities at his new positiog.

from what i’ve read marcus henrey has been doing pretty good…keller been catching everything thrown his way…and stucky just picked up where he left off before getting hurt…hutch. said stucky has been sensational in practice…i hope all 3 bring something we’ve needed for a while…an excellant passing attack…

Kansas fan here. I am so proud of Marcus. He was one of the key players for our Orange Bowl run/victory. If he improved his consistency on catching the deep ball, he was one of the better receivers in the Big XII. He is a huge target with surprisingly good speed for his frame. Also he broke a lot of tackles and made a ton of yards after the catch.

You got a good one. I will be watching and rooting for the Marcus and the Jets this season.

I heard Marcus Henry has been doing well in minicamp, I think the coachign staff sees something in him.

Tangini have had a track record of getting guys signed. It is a good thing this year.

Given the importance some of us place on Keller (to be a defacto WR and a possible field stretcher) and Gholston (to actually create a pass rush) these are the two must-signs before training camp.

I would have added Lowery to the list but it appears he is going to be another too slow CB and not a much needed safety so I am less urgent about his signing.
