Tom Brady Thinks Jets Are “The Best”
Brady allowed the press one interview over the past series of OTAs, and the reporters asked him about a number of topics, and it seems Tom has some resentment for the Jets, and it seems that he’s looking over his shoulder.
Q: What are you looking to improve personally?
Brady: I think it’s always team improvement. We’re always trying to find ways to evolve as a team and evolve as an offense. You realize that a lot of the things we did last year probably won’t work this year. It’s important to move forward and understand things that we need to do better. I’m not going to tell you guys [what they are] because I don’t want the Jets to find out. But there is plenty for this team to improve on.
Q: There was a radio interview a few weeks back where someone said you didn’t respect the Jets or something like that. Could you just clarify that?
Brady: I have a great deal of respect of the Jets. They’re my favorite team in the league other than the Patriots. I love those guys. They’re the best.

There must be a way we can get a transcript or a video clip of that interview sent to the Jets Defense. I want them to see this sarcastic prick, and the look on his face when he makes those comments. I want them to see that and let the anger rage inside until our home opener…..I then want Brady to see our Jet Defense, up close and personal. I want him to get destroyed. After Thomas, Pace, Harris, Barton, Woody, Jenkins, Coleman, and hopefully “The Ghost” harrass him for a sunday afternoon, he will think twice about talking smack……..

justagreen guy, its a well known fact that brady’s 4 worst game were against the dolphins, not the jets, this is ofcourse if you dont include the superbowl. the pats owned us the last few years for sure, but we have a better chance to change that this year than we’ve had in a while.

I’m aware they own us. Just take a look at a lot of his outings. He gets outplayed by Chad Pennington in Foxborough. He has also lit up Miami. They beat us but don’t often blow us out.

Bent says: Brady is a classy guy and thoroughly deserves his reputation as one of the best QBs of all time. The fact that the Pats apparently knew what the defense was running at least some of the time and that the officials give them every call has no impact upon my opinion of him.
It was a shame when the Patriots lost their unbeaten record in the last game of the season and for Bridget to name her son J.E.T. Moynahan just to get under his skin was totally uncalled for.
I think it is totally reasonable of him to harbour feelings of hatred towards the Jets after they were so mean to his boyfriend Mr Belichick.
Now THAT’S sarcasm. Learn from the master!

The jets defense needs to see the clip.
I just want to beat them. I dont care if its by one point. I want them to lose to the Jets. we could go 2-14, as long as we beat the damn pats.
Anyone who plays fantasy football knows that Brady is sick. Even if you dont play, come on, the kid is sick!! However, the worst type of player, is the one the talks mad smack, and backs it up!!! For that offense, he must be destroyed on the field.
In reality its gonna be tough, but we split games with them 06-07, so its not urnealistic to do that again. Hopefully our shiny new O-Line can man handle their defense……We need to fire on all cylinders, and QB seems to be the thing scaring me right now….

Cassell was pulled against the Dolphins because of performance. I think if we break Brady Belicheck won’t be able to get a new toy for at least a year.

Joe was a good QB that was a rival to a NY team…
Brady is a (although i dont like to admit it) good QB that is rival to a NY team…The Giants had a crazy LB with the number 56… The Jets have a crazy LB with the number 56…
Joe’s injury happened in week 11… The Jets play the the pats in week 11…
Both were primetime games…

The tides will start to turn this year. We may not be able to overtake them fully this year, but we will make them take notice by splitting the series with them. Next year will be even better when we overtake them as the best team in the AFC East.

It seems like they really have issues over there in New England. I don’t understand why they would dislike the Jets so much. They beat the Jets 99% of the time the two teams play each other. Why would he care about the Jets?
