“Baker is worth a third-round pick which could go to a second-round pick if he catches 40 balls or 8 touchdowns. I believe Baker has less chance to find a team interested because his apparent salary demands plus compensation will be hard for any club to swallow.”
I like Kirwan, but this statement appears somewhat dichotomous. On the one hand he states Baker’s value is a 3rd rounder to a 2nd based on performance, and on the other he’ll have a hard time finding a taker because of compentation (picks) plus salary demands will make it hard for clubs to justify. Sounds like PK is saying that Baker is over valuing himself a bit. Either a 3rd rounder is too high, or Baker already has a contract of his worth or both.
